Mountain Thunder

These enthusiastic Christian men from the community raise their voices in praise of the Lord.  They meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday nights at 8:15 p.m.  They welcome anyone to sing and/or play an instrument.  At times they have a regular band with bass guitar, banjo and mandolin!  They sing at Deerfield Assisted Living in Boone every 2nd Friday at 6:30 p.m. and at churches in Watauga and Ashe Counties.

Women’s Prison Ministry

A group of women from area churches visit Watauga County Jail’s female inmates each Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. for fellowship, discipleship, singing and prayer.  It is the prayer of the ministry that these women begin to see hope, to recognize the word of God, and then lead changed lives through Christ.  God’s grace, mercy, forgiveness and joy are desired for these women.  If you would like to participate in this program, please contact the Pastor.
